How does lane swimming work?

You choose the lane that suits your speed and join in. Swimmers swim up one side of the lane and down the other – swimming in very long ovals rather than up and down the same line. This is the clever bit – each lane has a board telling you which side to swim up and which side to swim down.

U of T students and members have free use of full-sized day lockers. Members and guests must supply own locks. Day lockers must be cleared before the facilities close. Day lockers with locks remaining will be cut, contents removed and a $28 fee must be paid to reclaim belongings.
